Like the chains of a dog tag uniting the two pieces, Hearts Apart exists to strengthen the unity between a military wife and Christ, a military wife and her husband, and a military wife and other military wives. Hearts Apart acknowledges the unique lifestyle of a military wife and attempts to address these particular needs chiefly through monthly dinner meetings designed to connect and support these women.

Our theme for this first year of Hearts Apart is ONE. We are so excited to join together with each other in this journey of military life and look forward to getting to know you. Our evenings will include dinner, fun, door prizes, helpful resources, encouraging speakers and most importantly, time to build relationships with other military wives. Hearts Apart is led by military wives for military wives.

Q. What is Hearts Apart?

Q. Do I have to attend Immanuel Bible Church to come?
No, we welcome all military wives.
Q. Do I need to register in advance?
Yes, our free registration allows us to plan and assign you to a table of wives. (link to online registration coming soon)
Q. Are there any dues?
No, Hearts Apart is Immanuel Bible Church’s gift to military wives.
Q. May I bring my children?
Though we love our children, the evening is designed for military wives only. Free childcare is available only for families of deployed service members or geographic bachelors.
Q. Do I need to commit to being there every month?
Understanding the unpredictable nature of military life, we would love for everyone to attend each month possible to facilitate fellowship among the table groups.
Q. Is there a way to receive the monthly newsletter if I’m not able to come?
There will be a link on our website beginning October 2011.
