Why High-Moms? Our Purpose

As moms of teens, we often find ourselves on a roller coaster of emotions as our kids seem to change right before our eyes. Our once cuddly grade school child now struggles for independence. At the end of our day we might feel isolated and confused while questioning our parenting.

At High-Moms, you will find a warm atmosphere of caring friends who experience the benefits of networking ideas and sharing perspectives. It is a safe place where we can confidentially share our concerns, encourage and even comfort one another.

In our discussions together we seek the wisdom and guidance that comes from our Heavenly Father -- who knows our needs and those of our kids better than we do! In the Bible we discover His wisdom and insight through the truths of His Word. Through prayer we find the strength and hope that God faithfully offers to those who seek Him. Whether talking to God on behalf of your kids or discovering the truths of God's Word is a habit or something new to you, we hope you'll join us in this great adventure!

Homerooms

Homerooms are individual small groups that meet regularly (typically every other week) in a warm atmosphere of confidentiality, usually in a home. Time is allocated for the Homeroom Leader to briefly share insights from God's Word on a relevant topic, followed by discussion and networking of practical ideas. You'll have an opportunity to pray for each others' families. With time, you'll develop a group of friends who are eager to support you as you fulfill your role as a wife and mom. You'll also discover the encouragement and understanding of an experienced Mentor Mom who is committed specifically to the moms in your Homeroom.
