Men on a Mission
Fourteen men from Immanuel and Gateway have committed to serve our Savior in Rwanda, July 21 to August 3. Their primary mission will be to support Africa New Life Ministries in an evangelism outreach to men and boys. Each man has a goal to raise at least $4,000 to support this mission. Crossfire Jr. High
The Photo Scavenger Hunt is May 31, 10am–4pm. This is an outreach event, so please encourage students to bring their friends. The cost is $5 per person and is due by May 28. Register at the Student Ministry Office or online.

X-Factor Sr. High
Creation Fest is June 25–29, on the Agape farm between Harrisburg and Pittsburgh, PA. It combines the fun of camping with a variety of Christian music and Bible-based teaching. Registration is $165. This event is for rising 9th–12th grades.

SALT (Seeking After Liberating Truth)
A 20-lesson Christian support program for all men, single or married, who are struggling with issues related to sexual temptation which might include pornography, emotional or physical affairs, or related compulsive behaviors. Take Action Immanuel!
Take the challenge, Immanuel. Bring in a pair of gently used or new shoes; rubber-band the shoes or tie the laces together, and place them in the “Take Action Immanuel!” wire bins around the church campus. The shoes will be donated to Central Union Mission and Immanuel’s Hope ministries.

Idella Simmons.....England
Global Outreach Mission
Idella serves in London in a ministry of outreach to Muslims. Her apartment in East London is in a strategic location just minutes from a large Muslim community. She is thankful for good relationships with leaders of her local church.
Idella considers it an awesome privilege to be a part of God’s plan for reaching a growing population of South Asians. Idella has a “Toy Box” ministry to Muslim mothers and their young children. She gives a brief talk to the mothers each Wednesday, and seeks creative ways to present the Gospel through these messages. Several of the relationships started in Toy Box have extended outside the group meetings. She prays that God will reveal Himself to these women and bring real conviction of their need for the Savior.
Idella recently helped lead a Christianity Explored course, and she is now co-leading a Discipleship Explored course. She teaches English in a growing ESL program and continually looks for opportunities to dialogue with Muslim women about Islam and Christianity.

Prayer Requests:
1. For Christian moms who attend Toy Box to share their faith with other women in the program.
2. For fellowship and spiritual growth of Muslim-background believers, and for them to boldly reach out to Muslims.
3. For God to encourage and strengthen Idella, and for Idella to be patient and persevere.
