IN MEMORIAM

Therefore we are always confident and know that as long as we are at home in the body we are away from the Lord.  For we live by faith, not by sight.  We are confident, I say, and would prefer to be away from the body and at home with the Lord.  So we make it our goal to please him, whether we are at home in the body or away from it.

Immanuel honors the memory of our members who are now absent from the body and at home with the Lord. We continue in prayer for their families and loved ones during their time of grief and loss.

Long-time member, Vicki Nellis went home to be with the Lord on December 29, 2010. A memorial service was held here at Immanuel on January 3, 2011.

For over a year, Vicki valiantly battled brain cancer with great faith and dignity. A memorial service was held Monday, January 3rd at 7pm, with a reception following the service. Former Senior Pastor Dr. Michael Easley officiated. The Nellis family has lost a loving wife and mother and grandmother, and we need to comfort them and uphold them in our prayers.
