mw-vocalistImmanuel's Music Ministry is all about the "state of the heart" for worship first, and then the state of the art. How we sound is the state of the art, while our worship is in fact the state of our heart.

While every musician is encouraged and trained to sing and play their very best, it is understood that if that is all that is accomplished, we have missed the very thing our Lord was after...our worship. Every musician and worship support personnel is encouraged to have a vibrant and growing relationship with Jesus Christ. Only then can we lead Immanuel's congregation to a personal love and worship of our God.

You are encouraged to participate in one or more Sunday morning worship services. Christmas concerts add another opportunity to minister (a 3-month commitment). The Easter Pageant offers the opportunity to minister with music, drama, and the orchestra. A spring Worship Musical is a short term (six weeks) commitment for one Sunday Celebration. The annual Fall Retreat is a wonderful way to become an immediate part of the music family. Join us for a weekend of fellowship, encouragement, and music.

Passing the Baton…
a note from Bob Welch, Music & Worship Pastor

“I extend my greatest thanks to this congregation for the joy and privilege of ministering as your Music and worship Pastor for three wonderful decades; to the pastors and Elders for the privilege of serving with such godly men; and to my Awesome God and Lord Jesus Christ for extending to me the honor of serving Him in leading this church in worship for 29 years. God bless you all as you continue to worship Christ!”
