Allan and Pam Gardner Virginia Ambassadors for Christ, International
Allan serves as International Ministry Advisor to the AFCI International Director and Leadership Team. Allan assumed this position after serving for 11 years (1991 – 2002) as International Director of AFCI. In his current role, he and Pam travel around the world encouraging nationals in ministry and ministering alongside them. They traveled to the United Kingdom in January. In November they returned to Australia, where they were able to spend valuable time with Pam's brother, who has since gone to be with the Lord, and his wife. While in Australia, they continued gathering material regarding the founding of AFCI for the history they are writing. In May, they plan to go to Cambodia for the AFCI International Congress.
Pam recently updated and re-released her book, "Distressed, but not Destroyed," which recounts challenges the family faced in raising their special needs daughter Andrea. In her book, Pam shares how God used suffering and difficulty to move her closer to her full spiritual potential as well as give opportunities to testify of His truth and grace. "Distressed, but not Destroyed" is available in the Immanuel Christian Bookstore.
Prayer Requests: 1. For AFCI teams working in sensitive and dangerous countries. 2. For the Spanish edition of "Distressed, but not Destroyed." 3. For Allan and Pam's physical and spiritual health and wise use of their time, energy and resources.
