Each year, Immanuel Bible Church offers unique opportunities to make an impact all over the world through STOMP trips. By choosing to make the most of your vacation time on a mission trip, you can reach out to people who have little to no contact with Jesus Christ. God wants us to show Jesus’ love to all peoples; to engage in service to them and to be a walking witness of the reality of Christ.

STOMP trips are designed to build cultural and spiritual bridges. We are serious about sending believers to do the Master’s business! You’ll see God at work—both in your life and in those you connect with. As a by-product, He will transform you by showing you more of Himself and His heart for the nations. So, pull on your boots, it’s time to STOMP!

Short-Term Outreach and Missions Projects 2011

STUDENT MINISTRIES

For all the teams: Safety in travel and for fundraising/support raising needed for each of the teams.

Specifics requests, please pray for:

Kentucky: June 29-July 9 | BLOG

Students to grow in servant leadership as this is an emphasis on this trip.
Strength and team work during light construction and leading of Vacation Bible School in Hazard County.
Our ministry partnership with Leader Treks and their staff.

West Virginia: July 3-9 | BLOG

Students to love each other and the community with Christ’s love.
The Gospel message to be heard and accepted by the people of Lincoln County.
Students to grow in their hearts for the lost and serving others.

El Salvador: July 9-23 | BLOG

Our ministry partnership with Tirzah International.
Our work with the Deaf School in Sonsonate and that we would communicate clearly and effectively.Our team would be an encouragement to the students, teachers, and families as we share the hope of the Gospel.

Guatemala: July 16-30 | BLOG

Students would love the “treasures” (scavenger families) with Christ’s love, helping to transform their lives, families, and their community.
Students would be bold in sharing their faith and for physical and spiritual strength as they minister in the city dump, medical clinic, and rural ministries.
Our ministry partnership with Potters House and Aselsi ministries.

Washington DC: August 7-13

Students to minister effectively as the hands and feet of Jesus to the people in the nation’s capital.
Students to get a new vision of how their faith can impact their community.
Students to experience God’s love and see what God is doing through organizations (such as Center for Student Missions) that operate on the front lines of urban ministry.

Thank God for the 15 men planning to participate in the Men on a Mission trip to Rwanda, Aug. 10-18, 2011. Pray that others would join and that God would prepare them spiritually and financially.
Our men’s team will be leading conferences for men in 3 different cities and towns. Pray for them as they deliver talks and seminars and interact with participants.
Pray for the Christian men of Rwanda – that these men’s conferences would better equip them to function in the workplace, lead in their homes and develop men’s ministries in their own churches.

WOMEN'S RWANDA STOMP: October 26-November 5

BLOG

Pray for open hearts as a team and that we would put aside any personal agendas as we go over.
Pray for wisdom in planning the day-to-day schedule.
Pray for safety as we travel to Rwanda and while in country.
Pray that the team would be able to raise the necessary support.

VENTURE/YOUNG ADULTS NICARAGUA STOMP: August 6-13

Pray for safety for those going to Michigan and Texas to train.
Pray that we raise the money needed for the trip.
Pray for the people going on the trip that they would work together well and serve well.
Pray that we could be true examples of Christ’s love to the people we are serving.
Pray for safety traveling to Nicaragua.
Pray that we find clean water

HISPANOS EN CRISTO

Bolivia STOMP: August 4- 14

Pray for good spiritual preparation of this team in evangelism, songs, testimonies, skits, etc.
Pray for raising the remaining funds required for this trip.Pray that the team members can get the required visas from the Bolivian government.
Pray for the safety during the trip.

Hispanos en Cristo Rhode Island STOMP: August 18-21

Pray that God opens doors to evangelism in Providence.
Pray for our time there ministering the Hispanic Congregation called Iglesia Bautista Emanuel.
Pray for raising the remaining funds required for this trip.

Commit to more than making memories this year—
commit to making an impact for Jesus Christ!
