Following our Lord's command (Matthew 28:19-20), we baptize those who have trusted Jesus Christ as Savior and Lord. Prior to baptism, candidates need to attend a baptism class held the second Sunday of each month (accompanied by their parents in the case of children). Here, the significance and mode of baptism are explained, and handouts are used to assist in study and consideration of Scripture. There will also be time to discuss your personal testimony, procedures for the baptismal service and an opportunity for questions, answers and discussion.
All participants must attend a one-hour class that is offered as needed on Sunday mornings. To help us get to know you, please register online or click here to download the baptism request form (please bring it to the class).
As part of the baptismal service, candidates share their personal testimony of how God brought them to saving faith in Jesus Christ. Use this handout to help you with writing your testimony. Please prepare a 150 word testimony for the class you attend.
