Premarital Program To Do List:

For those being married offsite by an Immanuel pastor

1. Obtain forms from this Web site or from IBC Administration Office: 703.941.4124.
2. Review the Pre-Marital Covenant and the Pastoral Approval Form (to be signed at the pastoral interview).
3. Fill out a Marriage Application form (one each).
4. Collect and forward by mail or email all completed forms to the interviewing pastor and schedule an interview with him after he has reviewed your forms.
5. Sign the Pre-Marital Covenant at the pastoral interview.
6. Obtain the signed Pastoral Approval Form to bring to the Care and Counseling Office.
7. Collect all remaining forms at the interview and forward them to the Administration Ministry Assistant in the Administration Office.
8. Contact the Care and Counseling Office, at 703.813.1952, to schedule an appointment to administer your pre-marital inventory. The Care and Counseling Office must have your signed Pastoral Approval Form prior to your appointment to take the inventory. You may pay the fee for this program at the time of your appointment.
9. Once you have taken the inventory and the results have been returned, you will be contact by a Mentoring Couple to schedule a suitable time to meet.
   

Please Note: You are encouraged to submit completed, approved paperwork and take the inventory as soon as possible due to limited space. When IBC Premarital mentoring couples are not available, referrals are available to fee-based professional Christian counselors.
