Children’s Heart Project
A ministry of Samaritan’s Purse that provides hospitality and transportation to African children coming to the U.S. once or twice per year for life-saving heart surgery.

CrossLink International is a ministry that collects donated medical products from hospitals and medical offices, then provides these vital resources to medical mission teams and mission hospitals.  Volunteers are needed to inventory medical supplies and medicines at the Falls Church warehouse and prepare medical goods for shipment to over 120 countries.

Food & Friends prepares, packages and delivers meals and groceries to more than 1,350 people living with HIV/AIDS, cancer and other life-challenging illnesses throughout Washington, DC, Maryland and Virginia.

Grace Ministries in Arlington provides a monthly outreach to immigrants in Northern Virginia. Volunteers help unload food supply trucks from the Food Bank on Friday and bag groceries, 10am–3pm. Volunteers can also attend the worship service and help with food distribution on Saturday morning, 8–11am.Children of all ages are welcome to participate.

Immanuel's Food Pantry
Bags of groceries are given out at Immanuel nearly every day to people in need. Families or small groups can assemble bags and bring them to the church for distribution. For further instructions, click here.


Immanuel’s Hope
The charitable outreach of Immanuel Bible Church that provides clothing, furniture and housewares to needy families in Northern Virginia.Volunteers can receive and sort donations, distribute goods, provide hospitality, and pick up furniture on Saturdays.

Mary Church Terrell Elementary School
Immanuel Christian School has established a partnership with this inner city school in Anacostia that is dedicated to changing lives! Opportunities for after-school mentoring and joint projects with ICS.

Regency House Food Distribution
This program delivers groceries to low-income seniors and disabled citizens in an apartment complex known as Regency House. Distribution is made on Saturdays, 9am–12pm, where the food is sorted and distributed to the residents.

Steps to Elevate People (STEP)
Reaching out to elementary school families, with opportunities to bring hope to the poor through the gospel of Jesus Christ. STEP provides encouragement by mentoring, educational opportunities and serving.

Urban Immersion
Immanuel’s annual mission trip will be Thursday, May 15 to Sunday, May 18, 2008. Hosted by the Center for Student Missions, we will work at various sites ministering to those in need in the nation's capital, including Central Union Mission.Come and experience the city in a whole new way . . .through God's eyes! Teams from Immanuel Bible Church serve food to the wounded soldiers at Walter Reed Hospital and their families. There are opportunities to serve once a month.
