CPREP (Couple’s Communication Workshop)
Spring 2008 — Thursdays, April 17–May 29, 2008, 7–9:30pm.
A couple’s ability to handle conflict and disagreements is the best predictor
of future marriage well being. All couples will have problems – it’s
how you handle them that count most! CPREP is a highly interactive workshop
offered to couples of all ages. The workshop is a combination of discussion,
video and exercise. CPREP is highly recommended by Gary Smalley, Dallas Theological
Seminary and James Dobson and is used within the four branches of the military.
This seven-week workshop provides married couples with the communication and
problem solving skills required to handle issues that we all face. For more information, go to www.prepinc.com.

Anger Management Workshop: A Focus on Compassion
Mondays, January 14–April 28, 2008, 7–9pm
The Anger Management Workshop: A Focus on Compassion, is a 12-week long workshop for men and women (16 years and older) for whom anger is causing problems in their lives. It is a structured series of lectures and homework assignments designed to teach you control over your anger. It works to replace the emotion of anger with that of compassion, so that you can build loving relationships instead of breaking them down.

The wounds inflicted by an "unsafe" person can go deep. Good people can get involved in bad relationships. Learn how to avoid repeating your own mistakes and how to choose safe, healthy people in relationships. Understand how safe people help us to grow and mature in our faith.
The cost is $15. Advance registration is not required.
We will be covering:
- What is an unsafe relationship?
- Personal traits of unsafe people
- How we lost our safety?
- Why do I choose unsafe relationships?
- False solutions
- Do I have a 'safety deficit"?
- Learning how to be safe
- Should I repair or replace?

Boundaries Workshop (for Women)
Every Sunday, 12:30pm–2:30pm, Matthew Place

The workbook/video series is based on the book, Boundaries, by Cloud & Townsend. Many will discover realities about their lives, about the family in which they grew up, about their present relationships, addictive behaviors, and co-dependency.
