This is an open group to help you discover insights and strategies for dealing with the many challenges of prolonged illness, an illness of a family member or as a caregiver will benefit.

FAITHFUL FRIENDS (WOMEN'S GROUP)

Morning Group: Thursdays, 9:30am–12:30pm
Evening Group: Tuesdays, 6:30–9:30pm
(Does not meet during Fairfax County Public School breaks and closures due to weather; however, the group meets during the summer.)

The Faithful Friends Support Group focuses on growing in ones faith in Christ amidst difficult circumstances. Perhaps you grieve the loss of broken relationships.  Perhaps your loved one suffers from chronic illness, mental health disorders, court issues, drug abuse and more. Faithful Friends embrace women who are facing trials serious enough to require support in a confidential setting. They meet weekly to pray and encourage each other with unconditional love, acceptance and hope.

NEW BEGINNINGS
A SUPPORT GROUP FOR WIDOWS AND WIDOWERS

Every Second Tuesday, 7–9pm, Matthew Place lower level
Every Fourth Friday, 11:30am-12:30pm, Matthew Place upper level

Finding a New Beginning after losing a spouse can be lonely and frightening. You are invited to join this circle of hopeful people who get together regularly to encourage and pray for each other. God allows loss, but He does not leave us alone in it. We don't want to lose the memory of the love and life we shared with our spouses. We want to learn where God wants us to go from the point of our loss-how to develop a renewed and purposeful life in Christ.
